ABOUT US

Established in 2003 by a collection of passionate football enthusiasts (core founding members being Gabriel Hui, Patrick Kwok, Danny Lam, Hinson Tsang, Alex Wong, and Yuen Wong), Pacific Dragon FC (PDFC) started off participating in various competitions across Greater Vancouver including tournaments in Burnaby, Penticton, Aldergrove, and even down the I5 in Seattle.

As the players bonded closer, the decision was made in 2005 to formalize the team and settle on Pacific Dragon FC as the official team moniker. In 2007, PDFC made its entry into the BC Chinese football scene, competing in the over 40’s division of the BCCSF. The football team then became a football club when PDFC expanded into the over 50’s division in 2010 and once more into the open division in 2015, when PDFC inherited the players from the now defunct Grandcity FC. The PDFC open team is currently competing in the top division of the Richmond Adult Soccer Association (RASA).

With representation in each age category and over one hundred members, PDFC is now one of the biggest Chinese amateur football associations in the province of British Columbia. In addition to the action on the pitch, club management organizes many social events and gatherings to further galvanize our shared love and passion for the game of football.

Whether a player is in it to compete at an elite level, or is just interested in staying fit and having fun, PDFC welcomes new members from all ages and skill levels.
